Group Offerings
Group sessions may be available over telehealth or in person and focus on a variety of topics including eating disorders, body image, intuitive eating and transgender support. Groups are capped at 8 members and are typically 90 minutes long.
Art Therapy Group for Teens
NOW ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS!
WHO: Open to ages 13-18. All genders welcome!
WHEN: Mondays, 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
WHERE: 524 S. 4th Street Philadelphia PA 19147.
COST: $60 per session. Fee is due at the day of service.
COMMITTMENT: This an 8 week program running weekly from 6/2/25 to 7/21/25. Members agree to attend all 8 sessions to get most of the benefits out of the group.
BODY IMAGE: This group will focus on body image and self esteem. Members will use art to explore their struggles with body image in a diet-obsessed world. Some common struggles wtih teens are :
Social Media and Online Spaces
Peer Relationships
Bullying
Sports and Athletics
Diet Culture
SELF ESTEEM Art therapy helps boost self confidence and positive emotions. The group aims to help members explore their emerging true self and how it is not defined by their body shape. Some examples are:

HOBBIES
COMMUNITY
SPIRITUALITY
FAMILY
CONNECTION Members will have the opportunity to connect with other folks who are on a similar journey. Diet culture and eating disorders are isolating and research shows that being in community is helpful for teens in recovery.
